At Mahatma Gading School we believe that every child has the potential to be a leader, and the right to learn in an environment where all ideas, opinions and views are listened to, and thus where leadership is expressed and practiced by all. Learning to live peacefully is at the heart of our school’s philosophy and we have sought to develop our school community as a peace zone which reflects Gandhi’s concept of Ahimsa, non-violence in thought, speech and deed.

We know that the children entrusted to our care, from preschool to higher secondary, must be equipped with the academic, social and emotional skills to thrive in the rapidly changing world of the 21st century, and have developed our school programmes to fufill these needs. Working together with teachers, students, parents and the wider community, it is our commitment and joy to nurture every child in our care, to be the best that he or she can be.
